CALL FOR ARTISTS - 3RD LARRY LOVES YOU

The 3rd LARRY LOVES YOU- Call for Artists - Are you an artist? Would you like to show your work to a wide range of people in the heart of the East End? Following the success of the first two events...Larry's Goodbye are looking for ARTISTS to collaborate with them on their 3rd ‘LARRY LOVES YOU'.

The venue is Bar Kick 127 Shoreditch High Street, E1 6JE. Please click on the link to our blog for pictures.(http://larrysgoodbye.blogspot.com/2008/07/larry-loves-you-venue.html)

We would like to offer a range of work such as: Performances, Art, Photography, Live Music, Video Installations and Short films...
We want our audience to work hard to experience the work and the site is something we use to create our performances. We expect the artists who want to collaborate with us to feel the same. The next event will take place 17th November 2008-

IMPORTANT
*You must be available 16th November all day from 11am) to set up and 17th November for the actual event (from 6.30pm-11.30pm)

*As much as this is an opportunity to showcase your work an important aspect of this event is to collaborate with the other artists. We expect you to help with setting up of your own work and other artist’s work. This is a group effort to make the space a place where all the work can exist alongside each other and compliment each other. Important note the venue is a bar not a gallery.

*It is important to us that you consider your audience when making your work. We would like to know how you would integrate your work at an event that will have live performances and music. How would you use the space and where will your audience be? How would the space affect your work?

* We expect help with the publicity of the event through flyering (We will provide these two weeks before the event) and placing a link for the event on your own personal website.

*It is important to bring as many people as possible for networking opportunities for all involved, as well as allowing your work to be seen by as many people as possible.*This project is unfunded therefore is an unpaid opportunity and there will be no guest list. All tickets are £5 excluding artists.

Please email your proposal no later than 25th October
